Here we go again! I have no idea how much Peter weighs or how tall he is. He's wearing 6-9 month and 12 months sized clothes because of his length.
Peter is eating lots of solid foods and has even started finger foods and is feeding himself like a champ. He loves it! He definitely prefers to feed himself so I need to start getting creative and preparing foods that he can eat, other than Cheerios and Gerber Puffs. We're still sticking with mostly fruits and vegetables, a few grains and occasionally meat. Doctors orders were "strictly no dairy" for now!
Peter has 6 teeth. 2 on the bottom, 4 on the top. He cut the top ones about one per week. I hope he's done for a while!
Still no movement! He stays pretty much in whatever position we put him in, unless he rolls over or goes from sitting to his tummy. He loves to stand up when we help him.
His sleep habits are the same. I would love to figure out how to shift his schedule a little later. A 7 pm bedtime for him means that the rest of us have to be back home by 6:30 pm for his sake, and miss out on so much summer-evening fun! Plus, it would be nice it he didn't wake up at 6 am...
He has developed an adorable giggle in response to being tickled! It's such a joy to hear. He notices all kinds of sounds and seems especially intrigued when he hears trucks and motorcycles driving down the street. Our neighbors have all kinds of noisy, manly vehicles and Peter is totally into those sounds!
He's growing so fast and we're so thankful that he's been so healthy. He's such an adorable little boy.
Cora is loving the big sister role. She is so kind with him, usually, and plays with him and tries to make him laugh or smile. It's really fun to watch, even though I know that one day I'll probably be having to explain to her that Peter only needs one mommy!
Cora is outgrowing her daily nap. Friday she said "I'm not tired. Can I just rest in bed with some books?" And this is what I found when I went to check on her 30 minutes later.
I love the pic of Cora in bed! What a book girl :) Have you tried no salt added green beans out of a can for Peter? Those were a hit for Haley at that age! Or frozen peas taken out a few minutes before lunch :) Can't wait to see you all in August. I can't believe what a big boy Peter is already!

Isaac's on that same sleep schedule, which is fine for us while we're in school, but come summer...let us know if you find a solution!
