Cora is one month old today! Here is a list of a few Baby Cora things that we have loved from this first month:
- The peeps and coos she makes when she's waking up
- the smell of her skin
- her soft, baby-fine hair, and wondering what color it will end up to be
- the way she scowls, as if it's sooo tough being a baby
- her sighs of contentment during and after a good meal
- the sound of lucious, satisfying burp after a good meal
- the way she curls up into a little ball on your chest and falls asleep
- how she used to pull up her legs so tight like a grasshopper in the first few days of her life
- how her whole body relaxes and stretches out in sleep now
- her deep blue eyes
- gassy smiles
- the way she squirms, stretches and yawns while she's waking up
- just holding her little body close to ours
Wow, I can't believe it was a month ago when we were waiting to hear when she would arrive!! So much has changed already. Thank you for reminding us of the wonderful things about Cora so we could enjoy the memories, too! Congrats again and we love you guys!
ReplyDeleteOh, boy, each month for who knows how long are going to be just like this:). You will find that you love her more and more each passing second! There is nothing like being a parent, is there? And, believe it or not, that love can be multiplied:)!!!
