finger food

We've ventured into the realm of solid foods that are actually solid. Cora has eaten cheerios, banana, apple, cantaloupe, bread and gerber strawberry puffs. I think she really enjoys the challenge of picking up the food and getting it into her mouth. It is fun to watch her concentrate and work at getting her hands to do what she wants them to. She seems to like the new textures, too. Here's a little video clip of her eating the puffs.

  1. She is way too cute! I love how proud she looks after she successfully manages to get that first puff into her mouth.

  2. Aww, so much fun! I love that she keeps her fingers attached to the puff as it's in her mouth!! :) What a difference between the genders - Bennett would never eat one at a time. He thinks he has to stuff his face and then usually ends up almost choking on food. good grief! So I can only give one piece at at time... I especially loved your phone ring and Cora's reaction to it. Great video! :) Love ya - LK

  4. Cora's reactions and expressions are priceless. For some reason they get to me in a way no other baby's ever has! In the beginning she gets excited for the puffs, then puts her hands behind her head like, "did I seem excited? I'm not that excited. It's just puffs, I'm cool."

She's really got the solid food down! What a big girl! Thanks, Kris, it's good to see and hear my sweet niece. Love you all! Tear, smile!
