Hi again...We've been having some slow computer issues and I've been too impatient with it to update the blog. But, I'll just be patient today.
Well, last week we enjoyed a wonderful visit from both our parents and my grandma and grandpa for Cora's baptism on the 25th of February. It was a beautiful service, focusing on the promise that God gives to us and our children. It is wonderful to be reminded of His faithfulness and love for us.
Cora did great, too. I, of course, was worried that she would be fussy and distracting during the whole service and that the actual baptism would start a crying spell that wouldn't be consoled. Everything went just the opposite. She slept through almost the whole service except for the baptism section. Then she was just pleasantly awake and aware and when the water came (and there was a lot of it!) she didn't even make a peep. She startled a bit and her face had a look of pure shock, but she didn't even whimper. Is this a sign of a future water lover?
Well, we definitely enjoyed being able to share Cora with our parents. It was fun to spend a week just enjoying her and delighting in her with them. Brad and I definitely enjoy her, but it's fun to hear others taking so much delight in her also. Cora did a good job spoiling them with her occasional smiles and sleeping peacefully in their arms, too.

Yes, it was a fantastic experience. Little Cora was spoiled by us for sure. Hope you managed this week getting her back to normalcy. The way her eyesockets filled with water with only blinking of the eyes was indeed funny to observe. Give her another hug for us. Nice pictures too. I have the baptism on DVD and will forward copies to all.
