New phrases

Cora has added a few new phrases to her vocabulary and we hear them a number of times a day.
"Otay, Mommy" (Okay) The funny thing is that she says it so sing-songy and cheerfully. And if she's responding to daddy "Otay, Mommy" comes out automatically, then she corrects herself to say "Otay, Daddy" which humors us.

"Hey, that's my ___" in regards to anything: house, dog, sticker, shoe, etc. Sometimes it's a very possessive statement, other times it's a delighted surprise at finding something of "hers".

"Oh, my goodness, that's right" whenever we remind her of something. It's usually in reponse to our answer to her question. For example "Where are we going, Mommy?" "We're going to church, Cora." "Oh, my goodness, that's right!"

We spend a great deal of out day chuckling at the things Cora says.

She's learning to count to 10 in Spanish, too! Her pronunciation isn't the best in English, so the very trained ear can identify the spanish numbers, but they're not super clear yet. It's so cute to see how she "counts her fingers" holding them all up and bouncing one pointer finger around the tips of the fingers on her other hand.

What joy she brings us every day! I am so excited to meet our little boy and learn what kind of joy he will bring us, too!
